The iDMT Lab specializes in modeling and developing treatments for intractable and inflammatory diseases. We focus on creating and refining organoid-based disease models to study mechanisms of tissue homeostasis, damage and regeneration, utilizing stem cells derived from various tissues. Our goal is to establish advanced platforms for the discovery of novel therapeutic or regenerative strategies in various incurable diseases or tissue injury. In addition, we are developing innovative stem cell-based therapies with improved efficacy. Our recent works focus on the combination of cell engineering and drug delivery technologies.
